A request for clarification does not move the record. It stays where it is until you answer, and then the same person looks again.

  1. Read the word as “who has it now”

Pending internal means your Nazim has it. Pending external means the auditor has it.

Nothing is happening to my record. Who do I ask?

    What does the label say?

    Draft
Nobody has it. You have not submitted it yet.
    Pending finance
    Your pocket’s Incharge Finance.
    Pending internal
    Your pocket’s Nazim.
    Pending external
Your pocket’s auditor, who is appointed by the pocket above.
  2. Rejected is not the end of it

A rejected record can be resubmitted with what was missing, sent back for reconsideration, or reversed.

Three ways out of a rejection
    1. ResubmitYou have the bill now
    2. Ask againYou believe it was right
    3. ReverseIt should not have been recorded

Only the auditor can close a rejection permanently, by accepting it as an exception.

If something goes wrong

My pocket has no Incharge Finance. Will my expenses get stuck at Pending finance?
No. That stage only exists where the Nazim has switched it on and the seat is filled. If the seat empties, everything waiting there moves on to your Nazim automatically.
