Terms of use
The terms on which appointed office bearers of Islami Jamiat Talaba Pakistan use the Jamiat Finance System.
In effect from 3 September 2026
What this covers
The JFS mobile app, the API behind it, and this website. JFS is published and operated by Idara Matbuat-e-Talaba (Private) Limited for Islami Jamiat Talaba Pakistan, whose records it keeps. Using any of them means accepting these terms and the privacy policy.
Who may use JFS
Office bearers the organisation has appointed, and only through an account issued to them by invitation from a Nazim. There is no public sign-up, and an account is not something you may create, transfer or pass on.
Donors and members of the public may use the receipt confirmation link sent to them and the public receipt check, without an account and without agreeing to anything further.
Your account and your device
- Keep your password to yourself. Nobody at JFS or in the organisation will ever ask you for it, and anyone who does is not who they say they are.
- An account is bound to one device at a time. Moving it to a new phone is a request that someone else approves; do not work around it by sharing credentials.
- What is done under your account is treated as done by you. If you think someone else has used it, say so at once.
- Biometric unlock is a convenience on your own device. Turning it on for a phone other people can unlock defeats it.
The records you enter
Enter what actually happened, when it happened, and attach the bill. The organisation relies on these records for its audit, so entering something you have not verified, or entering it under a category you know to be wrong, is a serious matter rather than a tidiness question.
Some entries are final by design. A receipt cannot be edited or deleted once issued, and a closed period cannot be reopened. A mistake is corrected by a reversal or a clarification in the next open period, linked to what it corrects — never by rewriting the original. Nothing in the app, and no request to support, changes that.
Donor details belong to the donor. Record only what you need to issue and confirm a receipt, and do not use them for anything the donor did not expect.
Where authority sits
JFS records decisions; it does not make them. Approvals, rejections, appointments and period closures are acts of the organisation carried out by the people it has authorised, and the app’s permissions follow the organisation’s own rules rather than defining them. A dispute about a decision is a matter for the organisation, not a support ticket.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to reach records outside the pockets and roles you hold, or to work around the checks the server applies.
- Do not copy, export or publish records from JFS except as your role and the organisation permit.
- Do not probe, scan or load-test the service, upload anything harmful, or use automated means to submit forms on this site.
- Do not upload images that are not what the entry says they are.
Availability
JFS is provided as it is. The organisation works to keep it available and correct, but does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, and neither the organisation nor Idara Matbuat-e-Talaba (Private) Limited is liable for loss arising from an interruption, from records entered incorrectly, or from access held by someone who should not have had it. Nothing here limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Some parts of the app require a connection and say so. A receipt is never saved on your phone to be sent later, because a receipt with a serial number the server has not issued is not a receipt.
Ending access
The organisation may suspend or end an account when someone’s appointment ends, when these terms are broken, or where it is needed to protect the records. Access ends; the records entered do not disappear, and remain attributed as described in the privacy policy.
You may ask for your account to be closed at any time, by writing to it@jamiat.org.pk.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
