Delete your account
How to delete a Jamiat Finance System account, and the personal data that goes with it, including if you no longer have the app installed.
Jamiat Finance System (JFS), Android package and iOS bundle jamiat.iqbal.jfs, is published on Google Play by the developer Muhammad Iqbal, on behalf of Islami Jamiat Talaba Pakistan. On the App Store it is published by the developer team IDARA MATBUAT E TALABA (PRIVATE) LIMITED, also on behalf of Islami Jamiat Talaba Pakistan.
Steps
- If you can open the app, do it there. Sign in, open More → Delete account, read the date, and confirm. Deletion is then scheduled automatically within 30 days. The request does not require administrator approval and cannot be refused by an administrator. An authorized administrator may complete an already-confirmed deletion earlier. You may cancel while it is pending. You receive an email when it starts and another when it is complete. You may uninstall the app after you confirm. You do not need to leave it installed, and you do not need this page.
- If the app is not installed, ask from this page. You do not create an account on this website, and you do not have to reinstall before you can ask. The form below sends the request. You can also write to jfs@jamiat.org.pk. Use the email address the account was issued to.
- What that form does, and what it does not. The server starts the 30-day closure only when the member confirms it while signed in. This page has no sign-in, so the form cannot press that button for you. We reply with the way back in — a password reset, or a device reset if the phone changed — so you can confirm More → Delete account yourself. We will not refuse the deletion once you have confirmed it. If you cannot sign in at all, say so in the note.
What is deleted, and what is kept
Removed when the closure completes: sign-in, name, the email address on the account, phone number, profile picture, password, registered device, biometric unlock, sessions, and in-app notifications.
Kept: the financial records, the audit trail, and the role history, attributed to a de-identified account identifier, because the organisation’s books and the receipts already issued have to stay verifiable. The invitation row also keeps the email address it was sent to. The full retention rules are in the privacy policy.
Donors do not have accounts. The form still works for a donor who wants their contact details removed. The receipt itself is not deleted.
Send a request
Or write straight to jfs@jamiat.org.pk. Post: 1-A Zaildar Road, Ichra, Lahore, Pakistan. Never send your password.
The privacy policy is the full account of what the app collects. The support page is for everything that is not a deletion.
