Signing in happens in the app.

First, install the app

Installing it does not create an account and does not ask you to register. It gives you the screen your invitation needs to land on.

Then open your invitation

• The link in your email is the whole thing

  Open it on the phone that has the app. When the app is installed and the link is verified, it opens straight into the invitation.

• If it opens this website instead

  That page shows your invitation code with a copy button. Open JFS, choose I have an invitation code, and paste it. Installing the app cannot carry the code across on its own, which is why the code is shown rather than hidden.

• If the invitation has expired

  Ask whoever invited you to send a new one. Resending replaces the old code, so use the newest email.

If you already had an account

• You forgot your password

  Use Forgot password on the app’s sign-in screen. A one-time code is emailed to the address your account was issued to.

• You changed phone

  An account is bound to one device at a time, so a new phone is refused until the binding is moved. The app’s sign-in screen has a request for exactly that; a Nazim or the Nazim-e-Aala approves it, and then the new phone works.

  Write to it@jamiat.org.pk and say which email address your account uses. Do not send your password — nobody at JFS will ask for it.
